Christmas 2010 Portrait Sessions

It was quite a busy Christmas for Joy Lynne Photography!!  So busy, in fact, that I didn't get a chance to make my Mom's famous snowball cookies.  I hope the holidays were good to each and every one of you.  We're looking forward to a wonderful 2011.

Holiday Samplings:

THE ALEXANDER FAMILY

We shot on the coldest day in December.  The high only reached 57 that day and we shot in the evening.  Our newborn baby girl, Ella, remained sound asleep and warm in her Momma's arms and little Blair was a trooper too.  We got all the photos finished in less than 10 minutes and the family was able to get back inside to central heating. Gotta love Florida!

THE FURMAN FAMILY

We all arrived at the beach that evening to find a heavy mist in the air and absolutely no beach left.  There was a storm over the Atlantic and the tide was all the way up to the boardwalk we were shooting on.  Miles, this little handsome (almost 2 year old), was a ham for the camera and a flirt with the ladies, as he handed out free kisses during the session.

THE VASSER FAMILY

This is the family I was shooting at Bethesda-by-the-Sea when I captured the "Mystery Engagement Couple" moment in the courtyard.  With a 2 year old toddler ready to explore every nook in the church and wanting to ride the nativity sheep, we definitely spent some time so we could capture a fantastic family Christmas photo.  I think the results were lovely.  They have 3 of the prettiest and most polite girls I know.  Photographing their family is always a pleasure.

THE ST. ANTOINE FAMILY

This was a fun session, to say the least! Olivia, the big sister, was definitely not camera shy and was certainly vying to be on America's Next Top Model.  Little sister, Ava, was a bundle of energy and both little ladies were every bit "Daddy's girl" as he entertained them with bubbles and a game of kick ball.  Mommy was on hand with lots of snacks and juice to keep the smiles on those beautiful faces.
