Photographing weddings is one of the most exhilarating endeavors. There are many details and lots of people running in every direction. I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding for Thomas and Chinda - now the Sangers - and it was the most unique wedding I've encountered. Their family and friends put the wedding together, grass roots, from invitations to the table decorations. The groom's Mom, Ginger, made the wedding cake from scratch, while the groom's Dad, Rich, cooked the delicious buffet dinner for over 150 guests.
Watching so many people come together to make sure this day was memorable and special for Thomas and Chinda, was incredibly heartwarming and a reminder that it really is the simple things in life that are the most important.

Lauren - Actress and All Around Lovely Lady
What a blast we had shooting Lauren's headshots in Jupiter. She still sparkled even though her session was invaded by red ants, angry children and old men in Speedos. She worked through all the distractions and we got these lovely results.

Christmas 2010 Portrait Sessions
It was quite a busy Christmas for Joy Lynne Photography!! So busy, in fact, that I didn't get a chance to make my Mom's famous snowball cookies. I hope the holidays were good to each and every one of you. We're looking forward to a wonderful 2011.
Holiday Samplings:
THE ALEXANDER FAMILY
We shot on the coldest day in December. The high only reached 57 that day and we shot in the evening. Our newborn baby girl, Ella, remained sound asleep and warm in her Momma's arms and little Blair was a trooper too. We got all the photos finished in less than 10 minutes and the family was able to get back inside to central heating. Gotta love Florida!

We all arrived at the beach that evening to find a heavy mist in the air and absolutely no beach left. There was a storm over the Atlantic and the tide was all the way up to the boardwalk we were shooting on. Miles, this little handsome (almost 2 year old), was a ham for the camera and a flirt with the ladies, as he handed out free kisses during the session.
THE VASSER FAMILY
This is the family I was shooting at Bethesda-by-the-Sea when I captured the "Mystery Engagement Couple" moment in the courtyard. With a 2 year old toddler ready to explore every nook in the church and wanting to ride the nativity sheep, we definitely spent some time so we could capture a fantastic family Christmas photo. I think the results were lovely. They have 3 of the prettiest and most polite girls I know. Photographing their family is always a pleasure.
THE ST. ANTOINE FAMILY
This was a fun session, to say the least! Olivia, the big sister, was definitely not camera shy and was certainly vying to be on America's Next Top Model. Little sister, Ava, was a bundle of energy and both little ladies were every bit "Daddy's girl" as he entertained them with bubbles and a game of kick ball. Mommy was on hand with lots of snacks and juice to keep the smiles on those beautiful faces.
